Where can I park?
GALA recommends the following free and paid parking options:
Garage Parking is available in the Giant Food parking lot, accessed from
Park Road, and directly behind GALA’s theater. There is a flat fee
of $6 for GALA patrons; tickets are validated at our box office.
Street Parking: There is limited street parking in front of the theater
on 14th Street and in the surrounding block on Monroe Street and Park Road
between Hiatt and 13th Streets.
What is the closest Metro station?
The Columbia Heights metro station on the Green Line is one block south
of GALA Theatre-Tivoli

Can I enjoy your productions even if I’m not
fluent in Spanish?
Absolutely! GALA provides easy-to-follow English translations through a
system of projected surtitles. We choose only the best and most readable
translations, often commissioning our own, then adapt each translation,
line by line, to ensure a well-paced, concise, and accurate set of surtitles
that perfectly complement the performances. Don’t forget our exciting
musical productions, which transcend all languages.

Yes, GALA’s stage is available for rental for performance (theater,
dance, music), fundraisers, conferences, graduations, corporate events,

How do I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets three easy ways:
1. Click on “Buy Tickets Now” to order online through Box Office

3. Visit the Box Office (3333 14th St, NW) one hour prior to a performance
Half-price tickets may be available for same-day performances at TICKETplace.
Note: Tickets to GALA shows are not mailed or given out prior to the show,
but will be waiting at the box office on the day of the performance under
your name.

During performance weeks:
Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Saturday, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM

During non-performance weeks:

FOR GALA MEMBERS ONLY
What should I do if I'm going to miss my scheduled performance or need
to exchange tickets?
Members have the benefit of exchanging tickets FREE of charge and reserving
new seats up to 24 hours before their scheduled show. Exchanges can be
done by fax, mail, or over the telephone.
Are there any date restrictions on ticket exchanges?
For members the only restriction on ticket exchanges is the first Saturday
evening of each show, which is reserved for the GALA Night/Press Opening
(Noche de GALA). This is a really fun evening with a reception immediately
following the show with the performers and artistic leadership. Members
are welcome and encouraged to attend this event at a significant discount
of the event cost. Please call the GALA offices for more information about
these events.
NOTE: Members can exchange up to two times for each show FREE of charge,
but a $5 processing fee is added for further exchanges.
What if I missed my show and forgot to exchange my tickets?
If you realize that you've missed the 24-hour notice deadline to exchange
your tickets, you can still see the show on a space-available basis:
1. Call the Box Office on the day of your scheduled show to let us know
you won't be attending.
2. On the day of the performance that you wish to attend in lieu of your
original date, call the Box Office to check seating availability. Please
understand that we are not able to reassign you seats at this time, but
can give you an idea as to availability at curtain time.
3. Arrive in person at the Box Office at least a 1/2-hour before curtain
time. Once all the ticketed patrons are seated, you will be seated in any
remaining empty seats on a space-available basis.
