Stories from the Park' N Lots

Written by poet and performer Quique Avilés, and directed by GALA's Associate Producing Director Abel López, join us for the Staged Reading of a new work created from stories from members of our diverse community, collected over two years through GALA's initiative Stories From The Park' N Lots under Project Director Antonio Montes.

For the past two years, GALA has held storytelling circles in which youth, seniors, business owners, artists, and residents share the meaning of community, what has changed, and where we are going. A community program to spur positive changes and bring people together for collaborative work. Story circles occur regularly and are announced on GALA's social media platforms.

Escrita por el poeta y artista Quique Avilés, y dirigida por el Productor Asociado de GALA, Abel López, acompáñanos en la lectura actuada de un nuevo trabajo creado a partir de las historias de miembros de la comunidad, recolectadas durante dos años mediante la iniciativa de GALA Stories From The Park' N Lots bajo la guía del Director de Proyecto Antonio Montes.
